Freya Healing Herbs

Three Sisters

Growing up there were three of us sisters and when times felt tough or scary being together felt like a huge relief mixed with happiness and joy. When we were together everything was going to be alright.

The fall of 2020 I was in the eye of my storm of illness. When I saw my first natural healer who gave me hope and healing she assured me she could help me get my stress and cortisol levels under control. She advised me to take these three herbs three times a day via capsule. I asked her- “could I make a tea? I have all of these herbs on my shelf” she lit up with a smile as said- “yes I think that would be a great idea, are you willing to make this tea three times a day?” So I created a batch of this tea, good and strong in a 32 oz mason jar. I would let it infuse for about 30 minutes before my first glass and then I would continue to drink my second for lunch and third before dinner. I started making larger batches of this blend and offering it to my friends who would come over for dinner in the garden. Many people thought this reminded them of drinking a glass of wine with the pungent tannins of a dry rose. Drinking this tisane blend melted away the overwhelming spiral of emotions I felt. This turned into my cup of calm during my storm. A hug when I needed it. Dedicated to my sisters Chrissy and Carrie and honoring all our fun, loving, safe and nurturing memories.

-> Each bag contains 2 measuring cups of herb equal to 32 TBSP. Each serving is 1TBSP per 1 cup of steeped water.

Steep to 175F or bring your water to a boil then let it sit for a minute or two before pouring over your herbs. 1TBS Tisane per cup of water or to taste. To get the most out of this beautiful blend and make it as I do, once you steep your tea, let it infuse on the counter for about an hour then place in your fridge. Pour over ice with cucumbers or orange slices to garnish. I prefer to make this in a pitcher, stored in the fridge for up to a week so I have some on hand whenever I need it but it usually doesn't last more than a few days ;).
